2. Scope

These terms govern the operation of the online shops kupi-les.si, massiv-bioholz.at, hr.kupi-les.si and en.kupi-les.si, the rights and obligations of customers, and the business relationship between the Seller and the customer. Slovenian law applies, including the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1); consumers from other EU countries always retain all mandatory rights under the laws of their country of residence. The terms published at the time of ordering apply to the order; the customer confirms awareness of them when placing the order.

3. Prices and delivery costs

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT. The prices valid at the time of ordering apply. Delivery to Slovenia, Austria, Germany and Croatia is free of charge unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular product. Any additional costs are shown before the order is placed. In the event of an obvious pricing error we will inform you and allow you to confirm at the correct price or cancel free of charge.

4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

Orders can be placed through the online shop 24 hours a day, or by e-mail or phone. Most products can be customised in the configurator (wood type, dimensions, finish, accessories) – such a product is made exclusively to the customer’s order. The sales contract is concluded when the Seller sends the customer an order confirmation by e-mail. The contract is stored electronically by the Seller; a copy may be requested by e-mail. Please check the accuracy of your details and the selected product characteristics (dimensions, wood, finish) before placing the order, as production starts on that basis.

5. Payment

Available payment methods: credit or debit card (via the payment provider Stripe), Klarna, Apple Pay / Google Pay, and bank transfer (proforma invoice). With payment by bank transfer, the production period starts on the day the payment is received. Card details are not stored by the Seller; payments are processed over a secure connection by the payment provider. You will receive the invoice electronically to the e-mail address provided or enclosed with the shipment.

Payment in two steps (deposit). Because every piece is made individually to order, payment is made in two steps. When placing the order the customer receives a proforma invoice for 40 % of the order value. Once the deposit is received the seller issues a deposit invoice and starts production; the production time starts on the day the deposit is received. The invoice for the remaining 60 % is sent before delivery, and the goods are dispatched once the full amount has been settled. The proforma invoice is valid for 8 days; if the deposit is not paid within that period the order lapses with no obligation on either side. The customer may also pay the full amount immediately by card.

Changing or cancelling an order. As long as production has not started, the customer may change or cancel the order free of charge; any deposit paid is refunded in full. Once production has started, cancellation is no longer possible because the material has already been cut for the specific piece.

6. Production time and delivery

As most products are made to order, the usual production time is up to 4 working weeks; the exact delivery date is communicated with the order confirmation. Delivery is carried out by the Seller or a contracted delivery service. Please check the shipment for completeness and visible damage upon receipt and report obvious transport damage immediately, at the latest within 8 days, to info@kupi-les.si (if possible with photos of the packaging and the product).

7. Characteristics of solid wood products

Our products are made of solid wood – a natural material. Every tree is different, so every product is unique and may differ from the photos in the online shop and from other products of the same type. The natural characteristics of wood are not defects and cannot be the subject of a complaint. These include in particular:

– differences in colour, texture and grain (annual rings, medullary rays) between individual products and within the same product,
– knots, resin pockets and other natural features characteristic of rustic finishes,
– changes in colour tone due to light exposure (wood naturally darkens or yellows over time),
– fine cracks, swelling or shrinking of the wood due to fluctuations in humidity and temperature – wood keeps “working” throughout its life,
– visible lamella joints and transitions on glued panels, and slight variations in hand-applied oils and finishes,
– dimensional deviations within the usual joinery tolerances (± 5 mm).

Solid wood is intended for living spaces with a relative humidity of approximately 40–60% and a temperature of 18–24 °C. With your purchase you receive care instructions for oiled wood; damage caused by failure to follow the instructions, improper use, standing water or mechanical impact is excluded from complaints and warranty claims.

8. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to notify the Seller within 14 days of receiving the goods (at info@kupi-les.si or in writing to the Seller’s address) that they withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This applies to all products for which the customer selects dimensions, wood type, finish or other customisations in the configurator or by agreement, and to all made-to-measure products. Production of such products is started exclusively for the customer and they cannot be returned. The right of withdrawal applies to standard, non-customised products from stock.

9. Returns and return costs

In the case of a permitted withdrawal, the goods must be returned to the Seller’s address no later than 14 days after the notice of withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the goods (postage or transport) is borne entirely by the consumer, not by the Seller. For items of furniture this cost may, depending on size and weight, correspond to the price of appropriate freight transport. The goods must be unused and undamaged, if possible in the original packaging; the consumer may only inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, otherwise they are liable for any diminished value. The Seller refunds all payments received no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal and may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or proof of dispatch is provided.

10. Conformity of goods and warranty

The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity (material defect) that becomes apparent within two years of delivery, in accordance with the applicable legislation; consumers retain the rights provided by the laws of their country of residence. Please describe the defect and allow the Seller to inspect the product (as a rule, with photos sent to info@kupi-les.si). In the case of a justified lack of conformity you have the statutory rights: repair or replacement, a proportionate price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract. The Seller responds to your request within 8 days at the latest. The natural characteristics of wood listed in section 7 are not considered a lack of conformity.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints are accepted at info@kupi-les.si or +386 31 240 846. We confirm receipt within 5 working days and keep you informed of the progress; we always strive for an amicable solution. The Seller does not participate in alternative consumer dispute resolution procedures before an ADR body and is not obliged to do so. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the competent court; consumers may also bring proceedings under the law and before the courts of their EU country of residence.

12. Final provisions

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The Seller may amend these terms in the event of changes to legislation or business policy; the terms published at the time of ordering apply to each order. Valid from 25 August 2026.
