The Dolly bed combines a modern floating design, exceptional stability and the natural beauty of solid wood – you choose the wood type yourself from alder, lime, oak or Swiss pine.

Its signature feature is the hand-finished headboard with a relief texture, optionally with ambient LED lighting. Made to measure in our joinery in Slovenia.

The bed shown in the photos is finished with white oil.

Slatted base Our own slatted base is made of straight, solid wooden slats and is not a sprung Latoflex system. The slats are approximately 25 mm thick. The advantage of this construction is above all the defined and stable support it gives the mattress. At the same time, the low build height lets us match the recess depth very precisely to the height of your mattress, and with it the sleeping height you want. Beds wider than 100 cm have an additional central support leg that distributes the load evenly.

    The Dolly bed is made from 100% solid wood of your choice and features a hand-finished headboard that gives the model its distinctive character. Its minimalist design and floating appearance create a sense of lightness, while the concealed support structure ensures exceptional stability and long-lasting durability.

    Hand-finished headboard with unique character

    The headboard features a textured relief surface that highlights the natural beauty of the wood and gives the bed its distinctive appearance. The wood is carefully finished to enhance its natural character, creating an eye-catching focal point in the bedroom.

    Floating design with no exposed legs

    Its special construction creates an elegant floating effect, giving the bed a light and contemporary appearance. With no exposed legs or sharp edges underneath the bed, moving around it is safer and more comfortable.

    Optional ambient LED lighting

    The bed can optionally be equipped with LED lighting integrated into the headboard or underneath the side rails. The lighting enhances the floating effect and creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the evening.

    The concealed base and high-quality craftsmanship provide excellent stability and reliable support, even after years of everyday use.

    Choose your preferred type of wood

    Each type of wood has its own unique character – simply select your preferred option in the configurator above:

    • Alder – a light and elegant natural colour with a subtle, calm grain and a pleasantly warm appearance.
    • Linden – a soft, light-coloured wood with a smooth and uniform texture; an excellent choice for whitewashed and coloured finishes.
    • Oak – a strong and highly valued wood with a distinctive grain and warm tone, offering a timeless and sophisticated appearance.
    • Swiss stone pine – an aromatic Alpine wood with distinctive knots, bringing a pleasant natural fragrance and a relaxing atmosphere into the bedroom.

    A protective finish for long-lasting beauty

    The surface finish is not only aesthetic – it also protects the wood. Natural oil penetrates the wood, enhances its grain, and preserves its natural matte appearance and feel. White oil lightens the wood tone and creates a calm, Nordic-inspired look. Matte lacquer forms a thin protective layer and provides the highest resistance to stains and everyday wear. All finishes are suitable for indoor living spaces.

    Care and maintenance depending on the finish

    • Oiled surfaces: Wipe with a slightly damp cloth; if necessary, refresh the surface with a thin layer of wood oil (e.g. once a year).
    • Lacquered surfaces: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth without using aggressive cleaning products; easy to maintain.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and standing water.

    Bed height – Standard or Comfort

    Standard is the basic version: the sleeping surface (top of the mattress) is 50 cm above the floor and the top of the headboard 90 cm. Comfort raises the sleeping surface to 60 cm and the headboard to 110 cm – ideal if you want to get up more easily. Both figures apply with a 25 cm mattress; choose the height in the configurator above.

      Delivery and Assembly

      Delivery

      The shipping cost is confirmed when the order is placed. The indicative shipping cost is 150 EUR. The price shown in the configurator is the final price of the product including VAT.

      Production and delivery time

      The estimated production and delivery time is up to 4 weeks from receipt of payment or deposit – regardless of the wood you choose. Every piece is made to order.

      Delivery and assembly

      We deliver the bed to your door. It arrives largely pre-assembled, with simple, clear instructions — you put it together yourself in a few steps, no craftsman needed. Most of our customers manage it in half an hour.

      Personal collection at our joinery workshop is of course also possible by arrangement — we would be glad to show you how it is made.
